Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to help support fundraising and event opportunities!  We will be hosting a volunteer orientation session on Tuesday May 14 from 7:00pm - 8:30pm at our office in Coquitlam.  If you are interested in learning more about Children of the Street Society and upcoming volunteer opportunities this session is for you!  Please RSVP to Chrysabelle Choe at 604 777 7510 x105 or cchoe@childrenofthestreet.com .

Volunteering is a great way to contribute your time and skills. To apply for a volunteer position please fill out the volunteer application form and submit it with your resume by email to cchoe@childrenofthestreet.com or by fax to 604 525 0024. Where there is a good fit between your needs, interests and skills, you may be interviewed and / or placed in a volunteer position.

Practicum Placement

Practicum students are accepted from a variety of schools and programs. To apply for a placement, please submit a cover letter and resume to our office by mail, email or fax. Placements are considered on a case by case basis and subject to the school’s requirements and our supervision capacity. Every application will be responded to, and where there is a good fit between a student’s needs, interests and skills, you may be interviewed and / or placed in a placement position.

Due to the volume of practicum placement requests, students interested in a practicum placement are encouraged to contact Stephanie Owen, Program Manager at 604 777 7510 or sowen@childrenofthestreet.com prior to applying.
