BC has proclaimed the second week of March as its provincial Stop the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Youth Awareness Week. 

We are inviting you to commemorate this week by joining us at a free workshop to be hosted March 11th, 2022, via Zoom. #HaveTheTalk will focus on the importance of having conversations about online sexual exploitation with children and youth.

It is suitable for parents, caregivers, professionals who work with youth, and anyone who wants to help the kids in their lives stay safer online. 

You will learn:

  • What is online exploitation?

  • The warning signs of online exploitation and how to recognize it.

  • How to talk to kids about boundaries, consent, and healthy relationships. 

  • When to ask for help.
