Video 14: Understanding technology to keep kids safe

June 8th, 2015 - Anzal Kamran, TCO² Workshop facilitator with Children of the Street speaks on how understanding technology can help keep children and youth safe. He also speaks on privacy and geo-location settings which, if not set properly, are two ways predators can gather information on youth.

June 1st, 2015 - Cpl. David Fouche (RCMP Ice Unit) speaks on what parents should look out for if they have children who play online games. Online games allow youth to connect with others all over the world. Immediately youth feel connected to someone they meet while playing a game that they both enjoy.

May 25th, 2015 - Cpl. David Fouche (RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit) speaks on the tactics that predators use to sexually exploit children. He also talks about what makes a child or youth more vulnerable to sexual exploitation and what parents can do to protect their child.
